The house is perfectly maintained, cleaned and prepared after each stay to stay at the highest standard. The exposure of the pool side of the villa is South so you will enjoy the heated pool all day long even outside of July and August. The whole villa is covered by a WIFI network.

The inside of the villa  is nicely decorated  : White lacquered kitchen drawn by Boffi, Hoffman designed sofa and armchairs, craftsman hand made side boards or wardrobe, original paintings and photos,... We did it with passion to create a unique and original atmosphere far from a lot of other holiday houses. 

 

At the garden level you will find an elegant 120 sqm (1200ft2) living room with an open kitchen with large windows widely open toward the pool terrace and the rest of the garden. Next to it the 25 sqm master bedroom with air conditioning, satellite TV, a bathroom, a large dressing room and a direct access to the garden

At the first floor in the main part , you will find 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning, a direct access to a terrace and a satellite TV. 

Via a separate staircase, you can reach the additional studio and the one bedroom apartment. Both have air conditioning, Internet/WIFI, satellite TV, their own kitchen and bathroom

Garden furnitures is composed of 10 sunbeds, 2 garden tables, 16 garden chairs, a large gas BBQ, 2 large parasols

Designed by a reknown architect, it is idealy located in a quiet neighborhood just a walk to the white sandy beaches in La Pinede area and also to the center of Juan Les Pins and the picturesque historical center of Antibes.

The villa is 270sqm (2900ft2) large and has large volumes which enable rather large groups (up to 14) to feel very comfortable and relaxed. IT is composed of three different parts which can be rent in addition each to each other according to the number of persons  and your specific requirements.
For up to 8 persons the main part which is 200 sqm is enough, It has four independent bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you are more than 8 or if you need more space, more bedrooms or bathrooms  we will rent you one or both of the additional independent apartments located at the first floor of the villa. One is a 28 sqm cosy studio and the other one is an elegant 42 sqm one bedroom apartment.

Please note that to ensure the quietness and the full privacy of the villa, the independent apartments are never rent to anybody else than your group. Either you need them and we will be happy to rent them to you, or you don't need them and you won't pay for them and they will stay empty. Do you want to celebrate a specific event and would like a chef to prepare a 3 stars menu for your friends or family group ? Do you need transfers from/to the airport (cheaper and more convenient than with airport taxis.) ? Would you like spending a day cruising on a sailing boat or a hiking in the mountains nearby ? Do you need more house cleaning services (note that end of stay house cleaning is already included in the price) ? Of course at VillaRomane bath towels, linens, utilities  and end of stay house cleaning are included in the price  (but  not tousitic tax (1.5€/night/adult which must be paid in addition to the rent  the day you arrive).

Our private pool  is heated.

​​

There are a lot of holidays villas with pool to rent. Ours is heated from mid-march to end of June and from early September to end of October on the South side of the villa. The exposure of the pool terrace is South and since the sun is rather generous around here you and your children will take bath with pleasure  from early spring to end of Autumn !

It is 9.5m long X 4.5m wide and is equiped with an alarm which will yell inside and outside as soon as anything whose weight is greater than 6 kg goes unexpectedly in the pool. There are stairs on the  whole width of the pool on the small bath side. This is  very convenient for young children and aged people.

Also water sanitization is completely automated and chlorine free !!

I will take care of your from your reservation to the end of your stay.  It t makes a big difference !

From the beginning to the end I will be in contact with you whenever you need. You and me we will avoid paying the service fees of the usual platforms (but if you feel more comfortable you can also book via Homeaway system at https://www.homeaway.co.uk/p892986a or AirBnB system at https://www.airbnb.fr/rooms/5495109). I will welcome you and spend the time needed to explain everything you have to know about the villa. I live 15 minutes from Villa Romane so if you need something special or additional services, I will be there and do my best to provide it promptly. If something is going wrong in the villa I will be there quickly to fix it or make it be fixed.. I am fully committed to let you have a pleasant stay and believe me, it is not just buzz marketing words !

The villa is at a walk to all places of Antibes - Juan Les Pins

 

Villa Romane is ideally located. It is in a quiet neighborhood so you can rest at home around the pool all day if you want., But is also very close to Juan Les Pins beaches and restaurants (11 minutes on foot according to Google Map) and approximately 15 minutes on foor Le Marché Provençal, Picasso Museum and its walls dating from the 16th century immersed in the Mediterranean Sea, the leisure harbour and its famous Billionaire pier where you will be able to see the largest yacht in the world.....

At less than 10 km and 10 minutes by train, is the largest water theme park in Europe ' Marineland ' where families can attend performances of killer whales, sea lions , sharks or swim with dolphins. Juan Les Pins railway station is just at 5 minutes from the house : : trains will drive you to Marineland (less than 10 minutes), Nice (20 minutes), Cannes (20minutes), Saint Tropez, or San Remo in Italy (1 hour)

What else to do around during your  holidays ?

​

The city of Cannes with its famous 'Croisette' and 'Palais des Festival' is only 20 minutes by car or train so you can realy consider to stay at "Villa Romane"  if you participate in the various events and exhibitions in Cannes.

​

Cote d'Azur is full of activities and sightseeing excursions . Everywhere you will enjoy the pleasures of sunbathing and swimming and many water activities such as water skiing, windsurfing, jet ski or rental boats and yachts. Cities and villages are bustling during the day but also at night where you can eat in one of the many restaurants or shopping in the evening by taking a ride to the various Casinos.

Nice and the Promenade des Anglais, Monaco and Saint Tropez are between 25 minutes and 1 hour drive.

The high country is rich in walks and picturesque villages. The villages of Mougins, Gourdon, Tourettes or Saint- Paul -de- Vence located less than an hour's drive have an international reputation and I particularly recommend visiting them.
Still an hour away in the high country , you can go skiing in winter and do a lots of  ' nature and discovery ' activities in summer (eg : rafting and canoeing in the Gorges du Verdon , canyoning in the many rivers , hiking in the Mercantour, ...) .

Our policy with regards to noise to protect our neighborhood

​

We are in a quiet area in the middle of the city of Antibes-Juan Les Pins.  This is ideal for your rest, but it also means that neighbors around expect to continue to sleep at night and to continue to enjoy their own garden when we let the villa. In order to respect them, we kindly ask you to accept this contract only if the following policy is in line with the way you want to enjoy your holidays.

 

We remind or we inform Tenants that French law prohibits noisy activities. Tenants and their guests are entitled to quiet enjoyment of the premises. Tenants or guests or invitees will not use the premises or adjacent areas in such a way as to commit waste or create a nuisance by annoying, disturbing, inconveniencing, or interfering with the quiet enjoyment and peace of quiet of nearby resident.

 

More specifically (the following is based on past actual situations): since the surface of the plots around is 650sqm, it means you cannot fulfill the above expectations if (by example):

 

- You will come back from disco in the middle of the night and start - discussing or - listening to music outside or - jumping in the pool

- You cannot prevent your group or your children to scream during hours in the garden or inside the pool (but of course children can play, enjoy, and make normal noises in the daytime)

- Y0u want to have noisy activities in the pool in the day time

- You want to continue cheerful discussions after 10:30-11:00 pm in the garden and don’t want to go inside the villa to continue them at night.

- You want to play music loudly in the house or in the garden even in the daytime

- You want to invite many persons in the house or in the garden (our policy is a maximum of 14 people at home, guests included)
